CAGE PICKING - L1
This week you will revisit DEM BONES and explore how to play a finger picking pattern called the CAGE picking pattern. The reason it is called this is due to the fact that if you pluck the open strings starting with the C string, then the A string, followed by the G string and finally the E string, it spells out the word CAGE and is a great way to start your finger picking technique.

This is what the CAGE picking pattern looks like when played with the string in open position. To get used to playing the pattern, try playing it at least 8 times consecutively. Have a listen to the audio below to play along at 80BPM.
