This term we will begin each session warming up with a scale pattern. The first scale pattern you will explore is the C MAJOR SCALE and C MINOR SCALE. To improve timing, when playing we will start off at a steady pace of 70BPM, so try and familiarise open minor scale pattern. Click the button below to download it.

SONG 1: REBEL REBEL

This is a classic GLAM ROCK song, created by David Bowie back in the 1970's and what a fantastic song it is!

The original track starts on a D major, but for ukulele sake, we will be starting on C, which makes the riff much easier to play whilst singing. It only contains 4 chords but has a rocking riff throughout the chorus and break parts. There are two sections to this song for intermediate players so you can explore both then decide which one you prefer to play.
