RNR Ukulele Workshop & Afternoon Tea with Peter Moss
Uke-Cafe is a brand new interactive ukulele experience that will be launching in Liverpool, UK this Spring. With a range of events lined up featuring top ukulele artists and practitioners from all over the globe, we are delighted to announce that our good ukin' friend and world renowned ukulele artist Peter Moss will be hosting the 1st in a series of afternoon tea workshop events at Toxteth TV on Saturday 16th March with his globally acclaimed Rock N Roll workshop.

The 90 minute workshop will feature 4 songs in 4 different keys that will be mashed up and re-arranged for ukulele. This workshop is suitable for both beginners and those with more experience. 5 lucky workshop participants will be invited to perform live with Peter later that same evening in the Toxteth TV studio which will be transformed into a UKE-CAFE where Peter will entertain guests for the evening sharing his ukulele experiences and performing his favourite ukulele hits, including the Rock N Roll mash up.

WHAT TIME IS THE WORKSHOP?
1.30pm - 3.30pm
Afternoon Tea will take place during a mid-workshop break at 2.15pm - 2.45pm before the final part of the workshop is complete.
EVENING SESSION PERFORMANCE
If you are unable to attend the workshop and afternoon tea but would like to see Peter Moss live in action that very same evening then you can choose the option of just selecting the evening ticket. Peter will be supported with the UCL homegrown ukulele trio Cat People. Not to be missed!
WHO IS PETER MOSS?
Peter is globally recognised at The “People’s” Ukulele Man
Peter, has been playing the ukulele since his 8th birthday. After mastering the basics,
his father introduced him to his mentor, Ray Bernard, from whom he learned solo chord melody. From that moment on, Peter became focused on this style. He was also influenced by the recordings of Roy Smeck from the USA and this is evident in his concert material.
Peter was the first person to perform the William Tell Overture, at the wee age of 12, winning a national competition against seasoned players! A proud moment for his dad, for sure!
Peter spent 30 years exploring other instruments as well and contributing to various recording
Returning exclusively to his first love, around about 2012, his performance skills and his audience grew exponentially!
He and his ukuleles toured America and Canada, been on BBC Radio and Television and then in 2016, he engaged in a worldwide tour appearing at the Sunshine Coast Festival (twice), Newcastle and Melbourne ukulele festivals in Australia, New Zealand, and most recently, the infamous "Ukulele Festival of Scotland” with close to 36 performers.
His concerts are engaging, many facetted, including humorous as well as intense material. Always one with his audience, he is at home on the stage.
His workshops are varied, many to choose from, and always enjoyable for all levels of experience.
