THURSDAY SESSION: 4.15pm - 5.30pm

For dedicated Ukulele Club Liverpool members ready to take things to the next level.
UCL PLAY is an exclusive advanced ensemble course open to club members who have completed a minimum of three terms in the Level 2 classes and are ready for bigger arrangements, stronger musicianship, and exciting live performance opportunities.
This is where the training wheels come off and the real musical adventure begins. 🎶
Designed for experienced players looking to push themselves creatively, UCL PLAY combines:
✨ Advanced strumming techniques
✨ Riffs, hooks & melodic playing
✨ Ensemble harmonies & layered arrangements
✨ Dynamic performance skills
✨ Rhythm, groove & musical expression
✨ Confidence-building through live gigs and festival performances
⚡ Please Note:
UCL PLAY is intended for experienced UCL members who have completed at least 3 terms of Level 2.2 (or equivalent experience approved by the tutors).

- Busking sessions
- Fundraisers & live showcases
- Collaborative projects with other UCL groups
This course is ideal for players who:
✅ Are comfortable with barre chords and varied strumming patterns
✅ Learn new material independently between sessions
✅ Want to develop stage confidence and ensemble awareness
✅ Enjoy challenging themselves musically while still having fun
At this level, the ukulele becomes much more than a hobby—it becomes a powerful tool for musical connection, creativity, confidence, and community.
