Have a listen to the audio track for the level 2.2 part at full speed along with the original track ranging from 142 - 102 BPM:

Strumming Patterns

We are going to simplify a pretty solid rock strum which would usually played with using down strokes only but this can be pretty hard work at speed so instead, we will use the pattern illustrated below to achieve a similar effect.

INTRO.

PART 1
You just need to play single strums at the start of each chord for this section.

PART 2
This section is also played with single strums.

PART 3
This section is where the song begins to slow down at the end for the marching style rhythm. You should play single strums up until the Em where you play strums on the beat. This is where the tempo reduces from 142 to 102 BPM.

PART 4
This section is played on the beat 3 tomes on Em then uses a 16th note rock pattern for the 3 e + a 4 e + a and also comes in at part 9 (just one round), 14 and 16 for the outro section. (x3 rounds with an extra single on Em to end)

PART 5
This is the RIFF section and this is the only time you play it round twice at this section and just once for part 7, 11 and 13.

PART 6
This section is back to single strums on the alternative chord positions and is played 4 times.
For the Am and Bm you can simply pick the bottom 3 strings out.

PART 10
This section is where you play the open Am and move up the neck as you progress through this chord sequence.
