WEEK 3

Welcome to week 3!! Another two fiendish songs, rhythms and chuck strums to smash this week!!

I can now confirm that UCL Hell (UCL) have a 30 minute set at 7pm on the 25th October!


If you are keen to get gigging with those baritones, then you would be very welcome to join the UCL L2 & 3 members.  We will essentially be playing the halloween songs you are working on right now! Look out for the poll in your WhatsApp group soon.

Make sure you have your Halloween Songbook to hand for the next two songs as follows and have a listen to the audio tracks for guidance:

NB: Bad Moon Rising is not in the current song book so please download the PDF below. 

SPOOKY

SPOOKY consists of 4 chords... Am, Bm7, Cdim7 & Em7... ​with the main two chords being Am - Bm7. The main strumming patterns fits over a two bar sequence as illustrated below. Refer to your Halloween Songbook for the song sheet.

BAD MOON RISING

BAD MOON RISING has only 3 chords; D, A & G and a 4 bar rhythmic strumming pattern to get your through the verses, with a simple calypso strum for each chorus. There is also a SOLO section - so have a listen to the concert uke part and see if you can match it on the baritone if your feeling adventurous!
