WEEK 4

Make sure you have your Halloween Songbook to hand for the next two songs as follows and have a listen to the audio tracks for guidance:

  • Song 7: ZOMBIE (The Cranberries)
  • Song 8: PEOPLE ARE STRANGE (The Doors)​

ZOMBIE

The notes will provide info on strumming patterns and picking patterns. Have a listen to the track - and note that some of the single strums as illustrated on the song sheet have been recorded with the 8th note down strums - a mix of each, and possibly alternative chord positions for single strums might work well.

PLEASE NOTE - THAT SOME OF THE SINGLE STRUM PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED FOR THE DOWN STRUMS WITH ACCENTS ON BEATS 2 & 4. 

PEOPLE ARE STRANGE

This was one of THE DOORS biggest hits and their is still much speculation about how and why the song was written, but guess we will never know! Please refer to your songbook for the music.
