"DRIVING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS"
This week you will explore, DRIVING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS which utilises some of the more jazzier chords including major and minor 9ths, 6ths, major & minor 7ths plus a simplified Esus4 chord.

The strumming pattern contains two chords across one bar and has a swing feel. If you group the chords
Amaj9 & A together across one bar and then Dmaj7 and D6 across one bar then repeat, you will be on the right track.
The rhythm of the strumming pattern is quite similar to that of the Bo Biddey Rhythm, which is a variation of the son clave 3, 2 rhythm. Have a listen to the audio below to hear the original Son Clave Rhythm.
