Welcome to week 2. This week you explore the chords of G major and C major in a variety of ways. This song is originally written by the Moldy Peaches and featured in the 2007 movie named Juno.

FINGER GYM - WARM UP

Please refer to your finger gym worksheet from week  and Remember to warm to stretch out those arms and fingers before attempting this finger gym exercise - this week at 70BPM.

Start off listening to the audio track to hear this exercise at 60BPM. Each week you will speed up by 10BPM but start off slow for now with the audio then watch the video for 70BPM.

This chord requires 1, 2 and 3 fingers to fret the dotted positions.

This chord requires  just your third finger to fret the dotted position on the A string, 3rd fret. Using your 3rd finger will make it easier to switch to other chords.

The G major chord is often one of the more challenging chords for beginners. Take time to train your fingers to land accurately on the correct frets, and practise transitioning to and from this chord. Repeated, mindful movement between chords helps develop muscle memory, making the shape feel more natural over time.
