UCL1 - WEEK 5
"YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE"

Welcome back! This week you will explore the song, "YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE" - one of our club favourites and great fun to play.

This song originally copyrighted by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell back in 1940 although it has been noted that the PINE RIDGE BOYS recorded and released the song in 1939, leaving it open to speculation that the true writer who was never credited could have in fact been a Oliver Hood. This song has been recorded by more than 350 artists, and translated into 30 languages. It's a slightly different arrangement with some yodelling - which you are very welcome to try if you wish!  ;)
