UCL2 - WEEK 4
"SWEET CHILD O MINE - SOLO"

This week you will put your solo techniques into practice and explore the solo part for, SWEET CHILD O MINE by Guns N Roses. This section contains a number of effects such as bends, slides, tremolos and hammer-ons and try out a new finger gym exercise to prepare those fingers for moving about the fretboard un-chromatically using notes from the C Major scale.

SOLO

You may find it odd learning the solo before the song, but sometimes it helps to get the trickier parts into motion first. You will be happy to know that the song itself only consists of 4 basic chords, but more on that next week.
