WEEK 9
REHEARSAL WEEK 1


Welcome to the penultimate week of your course and congratulations on making it this far. For the next two weeks you will rehearse 3 songs selected for your mini performance at the cricket club on 11th December. Next week will be the final rehearsal where all level 2 groups will get together to rehearse together. 
The 3 songs with the most votes in the polls for the Level 1 live performance set are . . .

Please make sure you bring your song sheets along for the selected set and bring them along to the event. Download all tracks below to practice offline, if you haven't already.

PERFORMANCE INFO: This will be the order the set will take place so organise your song sheets for easy access. Music stands will be provided at the event but make sure you have a working tuner and practice standing and playing during rehearsal sessions. 

ATTIRE: There are special prizes from Nana Funk for the best/worst Christmas outfit/jumpers! 

THE RAFFLE: We have some exciting news!!! Another ukulele donation has come in so we now have both a baritone ukulele and an electro Tenor ukulele up for grabs with a load more fantastic prizes including a bottomless brunch for 6 at Masons!!! All proceeds will be donated to Claire House. One of their representatives will speak at the event to let you know how the funds are used. 

If you have any raffle prizes to donate, please bring them in over the next few weeks and thanks to all who have made donations so far - The more the merrier.

UCL FESTIVE FUNDRAISER INFO: The main event takes place on Wednesday, 11th December at Sefton Park Cricket Club, Croxteth Drive, Liverpool, L17 1AP. Doors open 7.30pm and you will be on stage around 8.35pm for your set.  This is a ticketed event only, so no walk ins so if you wish to purchase tickets for friends and family to attend please click the button below:

BUSKING INFO

You are all very welcome to come busking at any of the allocated slots as stated on WhatsApp. There will be a busking rehearsal on Wednesday 5th December at 7.30pm - after your final class rehearsal where you can join the L2.3 & 3 members who will be busking, so you are more than welcome to stay and get involved! You may not be able to play all songs in the busking book just yet, but we do have bells and shakers for those ones that you can join in with!
