Zoe Bestel

HDrawing comparisons with KT Tunstall and Ed Sheeran, award winning nu-folk singer songwriter and ukulele fanatic Zoë Bestel is making a name for herself on the Ukulele music scene. With her first single reaching No. 3 in the folk chart (Amazon download) and her debut album awarded Album of the Week by the Daily Record, she’s winning admiration from the press and invitations to support internationally acclaimed artists as well as playing live on BBC Radio, at Celtic Connections, Edinburgh Fringe and Cambridge Folk Festival.

Ukulele Uff & Lonesome Dave Trio

The Ukulele Uff & Lonesome Dave Trio is comprised of Chris 'Ukulele' Uff on ukulele, 'Lonesome' Dave Searson on guitar and 'Brother' Bill Leach on Hawaiian guitar. They specialise in obscure and wonderful 1920s/30s jazz, Tin Pan Alley songs and traditional Hawaiian music, performed with a skill and authenticity that is rare today.
Expect to tap your feet furiously and maybe even dance when you hear these three play. May your spirits (and eyebrows) be raised and may you return briefly to a time when dance music was played on strings when you see 'The Ukulele Uff & Lonesome Dave Trio'

SPLINTERED UKES

The Splintered Ukes comprise of a 9 member strong music band who take modern pop songs, splinter them up and re-arranging them into a big band style using little instruments! The SU have an eclectic taste in music, ranging from Radiohead to Jesse J with a nod to Amy Winehouse but definitely not the traditional ukulele fare you might expect from this little instrument.
They provide an upbeat, fun vibe and deliver songs in a way that often make them sound better than the originals!! Guaranteed to get the party into full swing, the Splintered Ukes are a ukulele force to be reckoned with
