The level 1 course is dedicated to helping you navigate the basic techniques and practices to help you get started and the Introduction to Music Theory explains how and why it all works the way it does and contains some great exercises to help you improve your music knowledge.

LEVEL 1 | ONLINE UKULELE COURSE; which provides 8 modules that take you from the absolute basics to being able to play a number of songs, melodies and rhythms to a basic level.
AN INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC THEORY FOR UKULELE PLAYERS; is suitable for beginners and a fantastic way to understand the theory side of all that you learnt on the level 1 course. We recommend this course after completing the Level 1 course.

Can you already play and strum most of the basic chord shapes? The level 2 course will show you how to bar chords, play more advanced strumming patterns and techniques and help you navigate solos and riffs, major and pentatonic scales and songs that combine various strumming patterns and chords from a range of chord families.

UKULELE BLUES FOR NOVICE PLAYERS is a fantastic way to really get those fingers moving and those jams rocking. Try this once you have completed the level 2 course.
We recommend that you start with:

The intermediary finger style ukulele collections contains two options that will help prepare you for the advanced content at level 4. You can work on arrangements of the following:
I'LL SEE YOU IN MY DREAMS: This course contains 7 modules and offers an array of the more technical strumming techniques showing you how to dampen your strumming, how to play thumb rolls effectively as well as the pluck & strum technique along with downloadable theoretical information containing key signatures and chord construction charts to help you expand the theory side of your music knowledge. The song is broken down into sections and comes complete with a full charted song sheet and Mp3 for then you have mastered each section.
MR SANDMAN:
The intermediary finger style ukulele collections contains two options that will help prepare you for the advanced content at level 4. You can work on arrangements of the following:

The Laughing Rag (1921) originally created by Harry Moore and Frank Skinner and re-arranged for UCL training purposes.
With instructional videos, downloadable PDFs and MP3 tracks, you will be guided you through each module with clear and concise instructions to ensure that you complete the course to your full potential. All UCL Online Ukulele Courses are accessible for 12 months from the date of purchase, with extension options available if required.
