This free ukulele lesson is for the absolute beginner just starting out on your ukulele adventures and is a taster of the kind of lessons we host on our Level 1 course.

In the video below you will explore some of the basic popular chords that are named, C Major, G7, D Major and A7.

Don't worry if you can't make those changes or strum just yet as you will get tonnes of practice in class. The key is to familiarise yourself with the chord shapes and finger positions. The chord diagrams below illustrate the chord shapes played in the video.

The vertical lines represent the ukulele strings, the spaces in between the horizontal lines represent the frets and the dots are where you place your fingers.
