Embark on this 5-week music tech course to learn the basics of setting up a recording session like a boss to mixing and mastering like a professional producer.
Each workshop is tailored to make sure you get the best out of your demo sound to prepare your music for the airwaves.
Suitable for any music genre. Specialist recording advice for ukulele players.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
This course is lead by Elaine Kinsella, is a music tech specialist and facilitator of music technology courses at music hubs, schools, colleges, universities and various learning centres since 2008. She was awarded the top profiler for music tech with NCFE back in 2010 and has recorded, produced and mixed music tracks for various bands and artists for release with record labels over the past few decades. She specialises in playing ukulele and drumming and manages all music production output at both Ukulele Club Liverpool and Like An Orchestra and will guide you through this course with ease.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- A device with Garageband, version 10.4.8 (preferably Macbook or iPad)
- Headphones to connect to your device (wired canned headphones are best)
- Any portable instruments you wish to record (Week 2 only)
- A willingness to learn, make mistakes and enjoy the process!
