Welcome to our vibrant and exciting Children's Ukulele course which is geared towards children aged 8 - 12 years to begin their journey into music making. This course is perfect for young, enthusiastic and aspiring musicians who want to make some noise in harmony with others and learn new, fun skills along the way.
We will introduce your children to a variety of basic chords shapes, strumming patterns and songs that will help build confidence and allow them to voice those notes if they so wish to sing along.
The course will conclude with a mini performance during week 10, where friends and family can come celebrate the new music skills of their children.
Our detailed lessons are lead by experienced Music Leaders and are a great way to socialise and learn as a group as well as developing a range of other transferable skills. All course content is provided during the session. All you need is a folder to keep any worksheets and song sheets in.
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE COURSE
This improvers course for those who already know the basics and can play a handful of songs. This is a fun way to confidently engage in weekly, tutor lead sessions and meet new friends in a safe and relaxed environment with the aim of improving ukulele techniques with confidence. This is an ongoing course with new content each term so that participants can attend this course as often as they like.
COURSE CONTENT:
Each session provides members with new content and training resources. The course fee includes all printed handouts for course participants, which will be provided during class sessions. We advise you to purchase a suitable folder so that your child/ren can keep all of their worksheets and song sheets in, safe and sound. We also urge them to bring all handouts to each class session as they are often revisited.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
The course fee covers all 10 live streamed sessions plus the course training resources and is non refundable once the course commences. If for any reason you need to cancel the course prior to the start date you may be issued a 50% refund within reasonable circumstances. All content for this course is developed in course at UCL HQ and is the sole property of UCL.
