LEVEL 2.2 - BASIC SKILLS - PART 2

Boost your basic skills into intermediary territory on the UCL Level 2.2 ukulele course and develop skills to really boost your playing technique. At this level you will be required to have completed both level 1 and 2 and have a good knowledge of open chords, at least 5 strumming patterns and some experience performing live.
During this 10 weeks, you will explore more intricate parts with tabbed riffs and solos and work on fretboard mapping which will enable you to find chords all over the fretboard whilst getting festival performance ready. Along with a range of fun finger picking techniques, this course guarantees to get you motivated to build up on speed and dynamics whilst venturing into some of the more fancy strumming styles.
Our detailed lessons are lead by experienced Music Leaders and are a great way to socialise and learn as a group and also come with the added benefit of an online membership where you can watch associated video tutorials, download PDFs, and listen to MP3 play-along tracks, so even if you miss a class you wont miss out on any essential training. This comprehensive course is tailored for dedicated individuals aged 18+ who have successfully completed Level 1 and 2 and are eager to take their ukulele skills to the next level. Designed to expand your musical horizons, this program delves into more intricate strumming patterns such as the triple strum, split strum, and fan stroke. You'll also explore a wider range of chords and alternative playing positions, enabling you to master more complex songs, some arranged with riffs and solos. Please note, this course is specifically for ukuleles in C tuning (G, C, E, A).
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
To embark on this enriching journey, you'll require :
- a playable ukulele
- a tuner (digital or clip-on)
- access to the internet via WiFi
- an email address.
HOW IT WORKS:
Upon enrolment, all participants will receive a personalised email link to create their account on this website. Through this account, you can access a welcome video providing essential preparation tips for your ukulele course, along with detailed instructions on accessing course materials.
Approximately one to two weeks before the course commencement, you'll receive your email link, so please be sure to check your inbox and add our email address ([email protected]) to your address book to avoid missing any important communications.

COURSE CONTENT
The course content is broken up into weekly modules that will help you progress at a suitable pace enabling you to explore a number of techniques that will get you playing along to some of your favourite songs with a new song introduced each week to help you expand your chord and song repertoire.
