BEATLES [SONG 1]
GIG SEASON IS UPON US!!!
Just a reminder that we have the JESS2VAL festival performance this coming Saturday 4th May at RAINFORD JUNCTION so this week we will have our final performance and practice stage techniques in class!
We are playing on the Marquee stage inside the big top tent at precisely 2.30pm so we will all need to be back stage (at the back entrance of the tent from 2.10pm to set up stands, tune up and prepare for the performance.
Please arrive at the festival with plenty of time to spare before we are on stage. It all kicks of at 12pm so I would recommend arriving about 11.30am. There should be some parking on site. The train station is Rainford Junction, and just a few minutes walk from the site.
Just to remind those that can make Monday 15th May at Central Libraries, we have a 30 minute set confirmed from 11.30am and will be playing the same set list as Jess2Val so make sure you keep hold of your songbooks.

BEATLES SONG 1 - LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS
As most of you will know, the Beatles Museum have been in touch regarding a possible performance at a private event on Wednesday 15th May from 7pm at the Beatles Story down at the Albert Dock.
We are still awaiting confirmation on this, but for now let's make a start on one of the more complex songs to prepare either way. There will be another opportunity to perform the Beatles songs during Beatles week at Sefton park Cricket Club on Friday 23rd August. This will be a ticketed event but at least it will give you a good head start!
