WEEK 3
This week you will explore a mash up of two songs that work with exactly the same chord progression, although DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY, written by Bobby McFerrin back in 1988, doesn't actually use any instruments in his song at all - just his voice with finger clicks and whistling. The hook, or chorus is based on a PENTATONIC SCALE for the whistling part and in this video he demonstrates the power of the pentatonic scale. The second song, WHAT'S UP, was a 1993 hit for Four Non Blondes and used a variety of instruments.
