WEEK 5
It is important to understand the way tab works and will really open your playing up to new forms of musicality. Last week you explored the C Major Scale which was tabbed out as numbers which is a great start but it is also important to understand how the rhythm works too so you can define the spaces between notes.
This week you will explore a melodic version of "ODE TO JOY" and explore picking notes instead of strumming. Ode To Joy was originally written as a POEM in the summer of 1785 by German poet, playwright, and historian Friedrich Schiller but is best known for its use by Ludwig Van Beethoven in the final (fourth) movement of his Ninth Symphony, completed in 1824.
