This week you will revisit the more advanced strumming techniques known as the thumb roll or triple strum and the fan stroke. Both contain a triplet sound over various beats within the bar. With a bit of practice they sound great in tonnes of songs.
The 'Thumb Roll' is a great way to spice up those songs with a triple rhythm sound and the fan stroke will make you look like a pro uker!
You can practice both techniques with this version of BRING ME SUNSHINE. The small green 'T's next to the chords represent 'TRIPLET' where you add in either a thumb roll or a fan stroke, but beware they don't all fall on the same beat!
This is the full song arrangement with lyrics. Have a go practicing along at 100BPM before attempting to speed up!
Zoom video tutorials will appear within 24 hours of the session taking place.
The audio play along tracks and are a great way to help with home ukulele practice as well as singing too.
