IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

The UCL Festive Fundraiser has been confirmed for Wednesday 5th July at Sefton Park Cricket Club from 7.30pm as this was the only availability they had which means we may have to move our final rehearsal session to either the Monday or Tuesday evenings on the 3rd or 4th of July - which we can discuss in class.

Tickets for friends & family NOW AVAILABLE HERE.

CAN YOU HELP? If anyone would like to donate any raffle prizes to the fundraiser effort for Summer Strum, any items such as plonk, chocolates, vouchers and other suitable goodies are very welcome. Please pop them into class over the next few weeks.

WEEK 7

This week you will explore Irving Berlin's 1926 classic, Blue Skies and revisit the updated DooWop Medley to practice the updates.

BLUE SKIES

BLUE SKIES was written by Irving Berlin in 1926. In the video you can see local lads, the UKULELE UFF TRIO doing a version with their own added intro section. The song is in the key of A minor and will be split into two parts with a melody line over both the intro, solo and outro sections.
