UCL3 - WEEK 1
"CROCODILE ROCK"

This week you will explore a range of strumming techniques and alternative chords shapes that will form a ukulele arrangement of Elton John's, CROCODILE ROCK.

Song Structure
Have a listen to just the audio track with the level 3 part and vocals only at full speed of 140BPM:

Strumming Patterns

INTRO / MID 8 / OUTRO

Play this section twice round for each part. On the 2nd set end on walk down instead of strum. For the final outro finish on an open G major chord with a single strum. ​

VERSE SECTIONS

This section is also played twice round for the verse sections.

BRIDGE SECTIONS

The bridge section is made up of a picking part on the open Em combined with hammer ons on the A7. You can then play the open chords to finish the sequence similar to the L2.2 group, or if you want to come up with something a little more creative here, give it a go.
