Strumming Patterns

Nice and easy start with sing strums. You ony need to strum once on bar 1 and 3 for the intro:

INTRO.

PART 1
More single strums here, but look out for the split bar containing the G & D notes. This is played 4 times.

PART 2
This section is played twice round and just appears once in the song. You simply need to pick out the open strings of G (2 beats), A (2 beats) and E (4 beats) and repeat.

PART 3
More single strums for each bar. This is where the tempo changes and the song begins to slow down at the end for the marching style rhythm.

PART 4
This section plays down strums on each beat on Em only for 4 bars.

PART 5 - 8
The next 4 sections play the same chord structure as below with 4 down strums per bar.
