IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

The UCL Festive Fundraiser has been confirmed for Wednesday 5th July at Sefton Park Cricket Club from 7.30pm as this was the only availability they had which means we may have to move our final rehearsal session to either the Monday or Tuesday evenings on the 3rd or 4th of July - which we can discuss in class.

Tickets for friends & family will be available soon via the website.

CAN YOU HELP? If anyone would like to donate any raffle prizes to the fundraiser effort for Summer Strum, any items such as plonk, chocolates and other goodies are very welcome. Please pop them into class.

WEEK 6

This week you will explore the song, "YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE" originally copyrighted by Jimmie Davis and Charles Mitchell back in 1940 although it has been noted that the PINE RIDGE BOYS recorded and released the song in 1939, leaving it open to speculation that the true writer who was never credited could have in fact been a Oliver Hood. This song has been recorded by more than 350 artists, and translated into 30 languages.
