WORLD UKULELE DAY MEGABUSK BACK AT LIVERPOOL One!

​After a four year hiatus, we are excited to announce that the World Ukulele Day celebrations will be back in action with a mighty megabusk over at Liverpool One in Liverpool City Centre on Sunday 2nd February 2025.

Starting at 3pm at the bottom of Sugar House Steps outside John Lewis, hundreds of ukulele enthusiasts from across the city and beyond, will come together to perform a set of pop classics, the ukulele way to raise funds for Alder Hey Children's Hospital and the Summer Strum Festival and you are all invited to join in.

The day's festivities kick off at 1:30pm and continue until 9pm at the Hilton Liverpool Hotel, featuring performances from local ukulele bands, including:
  • Wirral Ukulele Fanatics (1.30pm)
  • Quay Notes (2.15pm)
  • MEGABUSK (3.00pm - Outside John Lewis)
  • The Travelling Wannabes (3.40pm)
  • The Bowie Ukes (4.25pm)
  • Rage Against The Ukes (5.10pm)
  • Ukulele Club Liverpool (5.55pm)
  • The D'Ukes of Hazard (6.40pm)
  • The Sisters Of Mersey (7.30pm)
In addition to the music, there will be a raffle, tombola, a magician, and activities for kids, making it a fun-filled day for the whole family. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the ukulele, everyone is welcome to join in the Mega Busk with a mix of popular songs, so there's something for everyone to enjoy.
