So there I was minding my own business, enjoying an ice cream by the cupid fountain in Sefton Park whilst Fruitcake sniffed about, then suddenly a joyous blast of very familiar sounds! Apparently, busking had been cancelled because a certain music festival pretty much took over the entire city centre of Liverpool forcing the cancellation of all local busking slots! Pffft!
But that was never going to stop the UCL Massive from doing what they do best….entertaining the crowds and having a jolly old good time in doing so. They hatched a plan - and what a pretty awesome plan it was…at 2pm they met at the park gates by the Lark Lane entrance and in true mob fashion and devised a master plan….this is what happened next….

They almost made it onto the Band Stand for round 2…but apparently it should never have been open to the public….or for public performances unless some big wig with the key says so!?!?!?
So they hit the green opposite and had a bit of a jam, practised a few new songs and drew a nice little crowd of park dwellers who came and danced a bit of Lindyhop!
