On the 18th April 2014 Ukulele Club Liverpool kicked off their debut, 2014 busking adventures down at the Albert Dock in Liverpool, UK. Around 50% of the members played & sang in front of a live audience for the 1st time ever, after enrolling on the UCL 10 week basic skills ukulele course, which started in January 2014...And what an awesomely great job they did! The crowds gathered and gave generously as the sun shone brightly. They even managed to raise their highest buksing collection amount to date - which has given them a right old boost of confidence and the courage to go do it all again!!! You will find the UCL gang busking most Saturdays by the Pump House at Liverpool's Albert Dock.
Money raised from busking an other UCL events that take place during the Spring season will be donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care, a charity very close to our hearts.

Speaking of other events…it's Fruitcake's birthday (the UCL boss), on Friday 25th April 2014. She will be celebrating in style with fruit cocktails at her UKULELE PARTY taking place at the BRINK, on Parr St, Liverpool.
